Builds for soaking damage and staying on their feet. For players who would rather outlast a fight than dodge it.
Holy Knight build that uses the Crusader's set from Skyrim Anniversary. Restoration, Heavy Armor, and Block are great for survival and crowd control. One-Handed is a solid and versatile melee skill. Undead especially fall to you hard thanks to Stendarr's Aura and other Sun spells.
Heavy 2-handed combat focus, with back-up via strong followers, i.e. Serena. Dabbles in restoration and enchanting to make better gear.
Half warrior, half mage, and a master of talking his way out of situations he doesn't understand. Gerceval swings a sword, casts spells, and delivers speeches of questionable intelligence with absolute confidence.
His strategy? Confuse the enemy, confuse his allies, then hit something until it stops moving.

A two-handed warrior who uses Umbra and the Blackstar to fuel its crafting and collection of staves, making what is effectively a heavily armored battle-mage powered by souls.
A tanky, lawful good adventurer who makes use of Block, Restoration, One-Handed, Heavy Armor, Speech, and Smithing. Focuses on survival over raw offense, but hits plenty hard with sword and mace. Restoration spells keep the build alive and full of stamina for bashing and power attacking.
The Atronach Stone plus the Breton Dragonskin power make for excellent magic absorption in a pinch.

Clad in heavy armor, using alteration to absorb spells, restoring magicka to incinerate those who attacked first.
Ultimate canon Last Dragonborn build. Well-rounded Nord fighter. Stormcloaks, Dawnguard, Companions, College of Winterhold.
The Vigilant wields Stendarr's hammer, admittedly a difficult but powerful weapon to wield
The hammer will slow the user down, draining their stamina per swing as it has a carry weight of 100
The hammer should only really be used when enemies approach, not to chase down
Using a mixture of ranged Destruction Fire magic and Restoration, the Vigilant will use these spells to destroy any undead and daedrea princes and their worshippers
Inspired by BADCompanySarge, the Silver Slayer is a hunter of the undead, vampires, daedrea, and werewolves
This build focuses on everything silver from weapons, armor, and jewelry, fully enchanted to give an edge over the dead
This build does not use any magic and is susceptible to magic to give some healthy challenge against mages and vampires
This is not a stealth archer build as wielding heavy armor and a two-handed sword compliments the crossbow
A male warrior who follows Malacath Code: Do not steal. Do not murder. Do not attack without reason. Fight with honor. Protect your tribe. Those who break these rules must pay the Blood Price.
The main goal is to complete all related quests with the four Orc strongholds across Skyrim, collect all daedric artifacts of Malacath, and to build your own home using the Hearthfire homes.
