A build made to get the most out of the game’s mechanics: strong with swords, strong with Signs, and constant potion and decoction use. The core synergy is high Toxicity feeding Euphoria. Every Sign you cast boosts your sword damage through Resonance. Set up the brutal Yrden + Aard combo or just Whirl through everyone. Built around gameplay options, not a single trick.
First max out Wolf School Techniques, then Resonance, then Focus, then the Combat skills. If you hunt down Places of Power in Velen, you should be able to finish this build right around lvl 11, just in time to equip Griffin School Armor.
This build is better than pure Signs because you might as well hit them with your sword while you're waiting for your Stamina to regen anyway. Cast, slash slash slash, cast, slash slash slash is simply more efficient.
Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Damage hybrid powerhouse.
Tried to make the most difficult to kill build possible, basically all defense no offence. 21k vitality, 113/s combat vitality regen, 586 armor, strong Quen, second life, undying, potions/decoctions, etc
Midgame
Adrenaline based skills. Tried to have an all-around balanced approach. Use Aghoul, Tawny, and Maribor Forest as main potions and decoctions. Mid game use Wolven armor and as late game approaches transition to Ursun armor with the balanced Glyphword.

Core build & synergy between Skills->Resonance, Adrenaline, Focus, and Wolf School Techniques. Adrenaline boosts weapon damage and Sign Intensity through Focus, while Resonance converts that Sign Intensity into additional sword damage. Wolf School Techniques further enhances both, creating a powerful hybrid of swordplay and Signs.
A versatile Griffin battlemage combining devastating sign intensity (399% sign intensity), powerful sword attacks (215%), and exceptional survivability. Utilizes Quen, Yarden, Igni, and Whirl/Rend backed by Euphoria and multiple healing sources from decoctions while leaving a little play for potions. Build excels at battlefield control and sustainability after a quick Yarden trap set up. (Build works optimally at about level 52 as well, but good earlier)
This an extremely strong toxicity based synergy with euphoria and manticore gear, which provide absurd stats
Cast Yrden that spreads around and then griffin set gives you a free cast of Aard which is a literal nuke because of almost 350% sign intensity and 30% Aard intensity (saw this idea on tiktok, so it's my take on the build)
This Build Relies heavily on Mods ( All Skills Active, Perk Points Per Level, Lowered Set Bonus Requirements, ) The Pathwalker Buffs Themselves /w Alchemy then Enters Combat & Applies Signs ,then Cleans up /w the Sword
This Build Uses 2 Pc. Cat School & 2 Pc. Griffin School
Once you have enough points to get to Euphoria, this build is exceptional. Use Feline (Cat) armor with Deflection on Chest, or use Ursine (Bear) armor with Levity on Chest. Use Severance on weapons.
Made this awesome build for my girlfriend. Good to use if you want the best of signs and sword and like Yrden and Quen. Very beginner friendly with the inclusion of Exploding Shield, Resolve and Undying.
