Charisma is one of the seven S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes in Fallout 4, rated 1 to 10 at character creation. Charisma is your ability to lead and help others. It allows you to share higher point Perks and also affects your rewards from Group Quests and prices when you barter. Its column of the perk chart holds 10 perks, from Cap Collector at Charisma 1 to Intimidation at Charisma 10.
It can be raised permanently by the Charisma bobblehead and You're S.P.E.C.I.A.L. book, and 121 pieces of apparel shift it while in effect.

You've mastered the art of the deal! Buying and selling prices at vendors are better.
You're charming... and dangerous. Men/Women suffer +5% damage in combat, and are easier to persuade in dialogue.
Who needs friends, anyway? When adventuring without a companion, you take 15% less damage and carry weight increases by 50.
Your faithful canine companion can hold an enemy, giving you a greater chance to hit them in V.A.T.S.
Commune with beasts! With your gun, aim at any animal below your level and gain a chance to pacify it.
