Shrouded Cowl is a unique piece of light armor in Skyrim, worn on the head, with a base armor rating of 13. Its rating scales with the Light Armor skill and with tempering at a workbench. In Survival Mode it provides 18 warmth.
It carries a built-in enchantment and cannot be enchanted further. The Agile Defender, Matching Set and Unhindered perks boost it.
