The Nordic Carved Gauntlets are heavy armor in Skyrim, worn on the hands, with a base armor rating of 15. Their rating scales with the Heavy Armor skill and with tempering at a workbench. In Survival Mode they provide 24 warmth. They were added by the Dragonborn expansion.

They can take 15 enchantments at an arcane enchanter, and are found pre-enchanted in 15 variants. The Fists of Steel, Juggernaut and Tower of Strength perks boost them.
