If you get one or want to farm one you could take Rifleman instead, or just use an auto receiver
Don't shoot at your feet or you will blow up, too

WastelandOperator A beginner-friendly, close-range build focused on exploration, crafting, and practical survival. As a Quartermaster, you make the most of the equipment and resources you find, modifying and maintaining your gear to stay prepared for whatever the wasteland throws at you. Rather than relying on a single specialised playstyle this build gives you the flexibility to explore, fight up close and use crafting to steadily expand your capabilities
An all-around Commando focused on run-and-gun combat with automatic weapons and explosive damage. Uses the Spray n Pray and Explosive Combat Shotgun, while investing in settlement building, crafting, and general utility.
Stealthy Blitz Maniac. Start out with Pickman’s Blade or Kremvh’s Tooth and Blitz your way to the Instigating Cutlass given by Nisha at the end of Nuka-World. Enjoy the animations!
